Duluth is where we started and still where most of our work is. From the pre-1900 houses stacked up the hillside in Central and East Hillside, through the big old homes in Congdon and Chester Park, out to Lakeside, Piedmont, Duluth Heights and West Duluth, we have put containers on just about every kind of driveway this city has — including a good number everyone else said could not be done.
If the container has to sit on a public street or alley rather than your own driveway, the City requires an obstruction permit through the Engineering Division, and that needs real lead time — worth knowing before you plan a same-day drop. Prohibited items follow MPCA rules statewide, and WLSSD handles the categories a roll-off legally cannot: household hazardous waste, electronics, appliances and yard waste. Jobs across the bridges in Superior fall under Wisconsin DNR rules instead, which overlap with Minnesota's but are not identical.

Do you charge more for towns further from Duluth?
Our flat rate already accounts for the run, and every town on this page is inside our normal radius so you are not paying a distance surcharge. If you are outside the listed area, call (218) 514-6269 and we will tell you straight away whether we can serve you and what it would cost.
My town is not listed — can you still deliver?
Often, yes. The list covers where we run regularly across St. Louis County, Carlton County, Lake County MN and Douglas County WI, but we stretch beyond it for the right job. One phone call settles it.
Do permit rules change from town to town?
Yes, and this catches people out. Driveway placement on private property is straightforward almost everywhere. Street, parkway or sidewalk placement needs permission from that specific municipality, and the process and lead time differ. In Duluth that is a right-of-way permit. Always check with the town you are actually in.
Can you deliver to multiple addresses for one project?
Yes — property managers, realtors and contractors do this regularly. Tell us the addresses and the sequence you want them served and we will schedule the run. Certificates of insurance for multiple sites are no problem.
